Entry standard

R5RP is whitelist only. That is intentional. The goal is to slow the process down enough that players arrive with context, a working character idea, and the patience to participate in a shared world.

What we expect before approval

• Join the Discord and read the onboarding channels in full.
• Review the rules hub before you ask staff to explain a policy to you.
• Arrive with a microphone that keeps your speech understandable in a tense scene.
• Bring a character concept with goals, habits, and believable limits.

Starting mindset

The city works best when players arrive prepared to collaborate. Your character should be able to hold a conversation, take a loss, and grow through consequences without collapsing the scene around them.

Before you connect

• Do not rush whitelist steps just to reach active scenes faster.
• Do not treat uncertainty as permission to improvise around server standards.
• Do not rely on staff to build your motivation for you.

First-day priorities

When you are approved, focus on orientation. Learn the city layout, identify where your character belongs, and make a few grounded connections before you chase high-stakes scenes.
