Server Rules

These are the baseline expectations for how R5RP expects players to behave.

Core standards for behavior, immersion, and scene quality. Reviewed February 2026

Respect the tone of the city

R5RP is a serious roleplay environment. You are expected to act with enough restraint that scenes remain believable even when conflict, money, or status are involved.

Stay in character whenever possible

Breaking tone, baiting reactions, or turning a scene into out-of-character commentary damages everyone around you. If something needs staff attention, step away from the scene and handle it through the proper channel.

Powergaming and forced outcomes

Do not script success for yourself. Other players need space to react, negotiate, fail, or push back. If your action leaves no believable room for anyone else, it probably needs to be reworked.

Metagaming

Information learned outside the scene does not belong inside it. Discord chatter, streams, or staff discussions are not excuses to short-circuit character knowledge.

Value your character and the world

Fear, injury, pressure, reputation, and consequences should change how your character behaves. If you treat every situation as disposable, the city starts to feel disposable too.
